Day 5 - Hattiesburg, MS

"I don't like my shit fucked up girl. I don't like my shiiiit fucked."
fun night at a familiar place in MS with Jean-Eric.



Finally headed up north for real. We left at around 5:30pm for the Burg, got there right on time and were greeted with delightful sandwiches so graciously by our buddy Brad at the Thirsty Hippo. A familiar spot for Caddy, this was their third time playing there.
I'd be lying if I said that our anticipation of the show's success was bright for most of the night. from 7 until 10:30 it appeared as if we and the members of Jean-Eric might be the only attendees for the night.
However, Brad told us to have faith, and wait till 11 to play. We did. Alas, seemingly instantly right before 11 o'clock, a sizeble crowd showed up. Not just regulars, but true Caddywhompus fans who had been here before and came back for the good time.
Jean-Eric got the party started right then and never let it die. I love this band. Don't know what else to say. They rule and party hard always.
Caddy then carried on with their set and in the words of Chris Rehm himself it was, "probably the best show we've played in a while". Profound, and true, it was artful.
Us 3 along with all of our best buddies in Jean-Eric stayed the night in the upstairs apartment of the venue, which was exceedingly spacious and awesome, apart from a small concentrated amount of A.C. that we all huddled/drunkely sprawled around through the night.
